I was driving in my friend’s car, he was taking me to the show, we had a show at Troubadour, and this was the first couple months of touring. And at this point, we didn’t know if anybody knew about the album yet. It was still very brand new. And so [we’re] driving down Santa Monica, almost to the Troubadour, and I hear something familiar on the radio and I was like, ‘Is that Fall Boy’s song?’ Because I just sound like Patrick [Stump], obviously. So I realized it was me, and I started flipping out 0😮. That’s how I looked there. So that was me, I was freaking out. And then at the end of that, I stuck my head out the window, which probably could’ve killed me, and I was just screaming like, ‘This is me, I’m singing, what up LA?!‘I was like so, so ecstatic about it.
